报告内容:The reactor pressure vessel (RPV), as one of the most important safety barriers of light water reactors, is exposed to neutron irradiation at elevated temperatures, which results in embrittlement of the RPV steel. One potential challenge to the structural integrity of the RPV in a pressurized water reactor is posed by pressurized thermal shock (PTS). Therefore, the safety of the RPV with regard to neutron embrittlement has to be analyzed. In this talk, the procedure and method for the structural integrity analysis of RPV subjected to PTS is presented. Both deterministic and probabilistic analyses are performed for a RPV by calculating the probabilities for crack initiation and failure.
Transferability of fracture toughness data obtained on small scale specimens to a full-scale cracked structure is one of the key issues in integrity assessment of RPVs. In order to get a more precise result, the fracture toughness from the test standards should be adjusted to different points of the crack front by considering both the in-plane and out-of-plane constraint. T-stress distribution during the transients is used to quantify the constraint effect of the structure with a shallow crack.
Local approach to fracture is used to model material fracture toughness in the ductile-to -brittle transition region. The influence of warm prestressing on the integrity analysis of RPV is discussed.
报告人介绍:钱桂安,2009年毕业于中国科学院力学研究所获固体力学博士学位。2009年8月-2012年12月在瑞士保罗谢勒研究所(Paul Scherrer Institute)从事博士后研究工作。从2013年1月起在瑞士保罗谢勒研究所(Paul Scherrer Institute)任scientist。他的主要研究领域是核电材料和结构的概率断裂力学分析。目前已发表各类学术论文20多篇。
